By default, there will be no template available, you to create one first. In order to create a custom template, click on the ‘Templates’ button.
Then, click on the “Manage Template” button.
Once you are on the template page, click the “New Template” button to enable the message field.
As for the rest of the fields -
Template Name: Give a name to your template
Merge Field: You can merge a field from the drop-down list
Message: In the message section, you can write your desired message
Once you are sure everything is fine, click the ‘Save’ button to create the template.
You get a message stating “Template Added Successfully!” if the template is created successfully.
After adding a new template or updating an existing one, users can use the template. All you need to do is select the template and click on the “Use Template” button to use it in a message.
When a ticket is created, it can be found from inside any ticket. And the template can also be used from any ticket.
A template message can be edited. After editing text in the 'Message' field or merging fields, changes for the template can be saved by clicking the 'Update' button.
You will get a message like “Template Updated Successfully!” when it is updated.
A template can be deleted by selecting the template from the “Select Your Template” dropdown and clicking the “Delete Template” button.
A permission pop-up will appear stating - “Are you sure you want to delete this template?”.
Click ‘Yes’ to confirm you want to delete the message.
