This plugin provides the opportunity to use templates so that the users don’t need to create SMS content every time.
Custom Templates can be created or used for the widget. By clicking on the ‘Templates’ button, the template page will open. By default, there will be no template present. The user needs to create the template first to use it. After creation, the template will be present in the drop-down list.
Click on ‘Templates’ button
Click on the “Manage Template” button
“New Template” button: The message field will be enabled by clicking this button
Template Name: Give a name to your Template
Merge Field: You can select a merge field from the drop-down list
Message: In the message section, you can write your desired message
Click on the ‘Save’ button to save all the values you gave in Step 3
After saving the template successfully, a successful message stating “Template Added Successfully!” will appear.
After adding a new template or updating an existing one, users can use the template for messaging by selecting the template and clicking on the “Use Template” button. Created templates can be found for all tickets. Also can be used for any ticket.
A template message can be edited. After editing text in the 'Message' field, changes for the template can be saved by clicking the 'Update' button.
A template can be deleted by selecting the template from the “Select Your Template” dropdown and clicking on the “Delete Template” button.
A permission pop-up message will appear stating - “Are you sure you want to delete this template?”.
Deletion can be confirmed by clicking ‘Yes’.
