Set Default Templates & Hierarchy


Please Note -

The Folder Settings can only be accessed by the Super Admin and Admin.


Inside your Zoho CRM, go to Google Drive Settings




Then, click on Folder Settings 





Once you are inside Folder Settings, you can create templates and set their hierarchy by clicking the “Add Hierarchy Template” button.

 



As we can see from the above picture, 2 templates (Departments and Finance) are already created for the Deals module.


We are going to create another template called ‘Logistics’ 




Set the template name and click on the ‘Create’ button.     


Next, we are going to create folders for the ‘Logistics’ template and set the hierarchy by clicking the “Add Logistics Hierarchy” button.

 

 


Give a name to the folder and click the ‘Create’ button




Similarly, we can set folders for other templates as well. 


We can create templates and set hierarchy for the Leads module in the same way. 




Admins can set a default folder hierarchy that will be generated for all deals and leads automatically. 


Up to 5 main folders including the parent folder can be created for each template. This is called 5-Level Hierarchy. 




Subfolders can be created, edited, and deleted through the inline create, edit and delete pop-up icons.




The rest of the process is similar to Default Folder Settings & Hierarchy. You can check more on creating default folders and setting hierarchy in this article.   


Please Note - 

Up to 3 templates can be created for a particular module (Lead or Deal). If we try to create more than 3 templates, a message saying “You can add maximum three templates” will pop-up 




Limitation of multiple CRMs with same gmail account authorization

The Zoho CRM 2 GoogleDrive extension does not allow users to use multiple CRMs with the same gmail account authorization. 

Also, the extension doesn’t allow users to authorize multiple gmail accounts for the same CRM.  


If a user tries to implement something like this, he will see a message like the image below -
