How to sync CRM Account

In Zoho CRM, you can create accounts by:

  • Entering data in the account details form: 

  • Importing Leads from external source:

  • Converting Lead to Account:

How to create Accounts Individually

  1. In the Accounts module, click “Create Account” button to add a new account.

  2. In the Create Account page, enter the account details.

  3. Click Save.


Mandatory fields for sync

Fields that are needed to be filled before syncing in Xero

Account Name: Without a name Account will not get synced in Xero
Add to Xero: This field needs to be Checked/Enabled


Note: if you associate multiple Contacts in an Account make sure you make one as Primary.

How to sync

From Zoho, sync can be performed two ways

  1. Manual Sync from Zoho CRM: On your Account record simply click the 'Sync to Xero' button in the top right corner to start the syncing process for that particular record. If you cannot see the 'Sync to Xero' option-click the drop-down arrow in the highlighted section for more actions.


  1. Manual Sync from the Plugin Portal: Login to your Plugin Portal. From the right sidebar, go to “Sync > Manual Sync”. Select “Accounts and Contacts” Module and your desired Sync Mode from the “Sync Options” section (upper right corner), enable the “After last Synchronization ran” option and click the “Sync Now” button.


Moreover, you will get the facility of syncing your past 30 days of data. To sync your past data, login to your Plugin Portal. From the right sidebar, go to “Sync > Manual Sync”. Select your desired Module and Sync Mode from the “Sync Options” section (upper right corner), enable “Before --- day(s) to till now”, and select the number of days you want your data to be synced from the drop-down section.

Limitations:

  1. Xero does not have an Account module; hence, the Zoho CRM Account syncs with Xero Contact. For more details click here
