Sync Data - Canvas to CRM

Now it is time to sync this course to your CRM. 


Go to “Sync Canvas Data” inside your Zoho CRM. Inside the tab, you see two options - 


  • MANUAL SYNC [Here, we can sync data manually]

  • AUTO SYNC [Runs a sync every 4 hours] 

MANUAL SYNC

As we are showing the manual sync process, so we will click on the “Sync Canvas to CRM” button under the “MANUAL SYNC” section. You can sync all the modules with one single button or module wise individual button.


If your sync is successful, you see a message like this -

 


In the Canvas LMS, e have created a Course and User. After the sync, we should see them inside the CRM’s Products and Contacts modules respectively.  


Therefore, go to the Contacts module to see the new user. 



Similarly, go to the Products module to see the new course.



AUTO SYNC 

The Zoho CRM 2 Canvas extension only allows users to turn on and off the AUTO SYNC option. 

By default, the AUTO SYNC option will be on, where it will automatically sync data every 4 hours. 


You can turn off Auto Sync by clicking on the “Automatic Sync ON/OFF” button under the “Sync Canvas Data” module.



After clicking the button, you will be directed to a new tab. You will notice a schedule named “Canvas Data Sync” under the Schedules section. Deactivate the Status to turn off auto-sync.  


  

You can see the Sync Type, Sync Direction, Sync Status, and so on by going to the “Canvas Sync Logs” tab.
