Before we sync a Contact from CRM to Blackboard, we need to make sure there are Contacts in the CRM. Otherwise, we have to create a new Contact and assign the Contact to a Deal.
We will show you how to create a Contact and assign it to a Deal. Then, how to sync it to Blackboard LMS so that you don’t have any queries.
From your dashboard go to Contacts and create a new one by clicking the “Create Contact” button at the right.
Provide all the required information to create a Contact. Try to provide the following information if you want to sync the Contact from CRM to Blackboard -
Once everything is given, click the “Save” button at the top right corner.
Provide all the mandatory fields to create the Deal.
After that, browse the newly created Contact in the “Contact Name” field and Approve the ”Blackboard Enrollment Status.” Finally, click the “Save” button to create the Deal.
Initially, you can go to “Blackboard Sync Logs” to see the sync status (whether the record has synced or not)
To check if the Contact/User is available in Blackboard LMS, go to System Admin >> Users. Then, search for the user by applying filters. You see the new User in your Blackboard LMS.
