How to sync CRM Product

In Zoho CRM, you can manage your company- wide products that are sold to the customers as well as procured from vendors.

How to create Individual Product

  1. In the  Products  module, click  New Product  icon].

  2. In the  Create Product  page, enter the product information.

    • Under  Product Information , select the  Product Active  check box if you want the newly created product to be active.
      By default, the check box is selected.

  3. Click  Save.

Mandatory fields for sync

Fields that are needed to be filled before syncing in Xero

  1. Product Name: the name of the product must be used.
  2. Product Code: a product code is mandatory, without the code the product will not sync
  3. Add to Xero: this field must be enabled
  4. Taxable: this field must be enabled
  5. Tax: predefined valid tax must be included.
  6. Xero General LedgerAccount Name

How to sync

From Zoho, sync can be performed two ways

  1. Manual Sync from Zoho CRM: On your Account record simply click the 'Sync to Xero' button in the top right corner to start the syncing process for that particular record. If you cannot see the 'Sync to Xero' option-click the drop-down arrow in the highlighted section for more actions.

  1. Manual Sync from the Plugin Portal: Login to your Plugin Portal. From the right sidebar, go to “Sync > Manual Sync”. Select “Products” Module and your desired Sync Mode. From the “Sync Options” section (upper right corner), enable the “After last Synchronization ran” option and click the “Sync Now” button.

Limitations

  1. If you create a product in CRM you must add Xero General Ledger info manually.

  2. Without item code and Tax info products will not be sent
  3. If you add multiple items/products in the Xero invoice, you must add item code and tax info for all of the associate product
