The most important function of the contacts module in Zoho CRM is that they can be used for both customers' acquisitions as well as procurement of products from the vendors. Contacts can be related to an account as well as vendors according to your business process.
Log in to your Zoho CRM.
Go to your Contacts module.
At the upper right corner click on the “Create Contact” button.
In the Create Contact page, enter the account details.
Click Save.
Before syncing a contact with Xero there are mandatory fields that cannot be left empty.
Email: the record must have to contain an email address. Without the email, Contacts will get duplicated on each sync.
Account Name: Every contact must have to be associated with an Account.
From Zoho, sync can be performed two ways
Manual Sync from Zoho CRM: On your Contact record simply click the 'Sync to Xero' button in the top right corner to start the syncing process for that particular record. If you cannot see the 'Sync to Xero' option-click the drop-down arrow in the highlighted section for more actions.
Manual Sync from the Plugin Portal: Login to your Plugin Portal. From the right sidebar, go to “Sync > Manual Sync”. Select “Accounts and Contacts/Vendors and Contacts” Module and your desired Sync Mode. From the “Sync Options” section (upper right corner), enable the “After last Synchronization ran” option and click the “Sync Now” button.
Contact will not sync from Zoho unless you associate it with an Account.
Without the existence of the “Modified by” field in Zoho, sync will not work.
In Zoho, if you do not use email, the contact will duplicate itself on each sync.
