Only the Super Admin has the access to "Canvas Settings", no other users can access this section
Under the “CANVAS SETTINGS”, provide the Canvas API URL (for our case, it is http://canvas.saasplugin.com.au/) and the Canvas API key.
To find the Canvas API key, log into your Canvas LMS portal and go to ‘Settings’ under the ‘Account’ section.
Scroll down a little until you find the “Approved Integrations” section.
Click on “+ New Access Token”
You will get a token key (or Canvas API Key) in no time. It is as simple as that.
Then go to (https://api-console.zoho.com/). When you land on the page, click on the “GET STARTED” button to begin.
Click on “Server-based Applications”
Provide the following information to create a new client -
Client Name - Give a suitable name (For instance, we gave “Canvas LMS”)
Homepage URL - This will be (zohocrm2canvas.saasplugin.com.au)
Authorized Redirect URLs - Inside Zoho CRM, copy the Redirect URL under “ZOHO SETTINGS” and paste it.
Then hit the ‘CREATE’ button
You will get your Client ID and Client Secret
Copy and paste them into the corresponding fields inside Zoho CRM, under the “ZOHO SETTINGS”
Once everything is done properly, click on the “Connect to Canvas LMS” and “Connect to Zoho CRM” buttons to connect to the Canvas LMS and Zoho CRM respectively.
After clicking the “Connect to Canvas LMS” button, you will get a success message like the below -
And after clicking the “Connect to Zoho CRM” button, you will be directed to the following tab, where you need to click the ‘Accept’ button to give access to your Zoho Account data to Canvas LMS.
After clicking the ‘Accept’ button, you will see the following success message -
