Burstsms Caller ID - You have three options for the Burstsms Caller ID -
Option 1: You leave the "Burst SMS Caller ID" blank
If you leave the "Burst SMS Caller ID" blank any SMS that you send will come from a Shared Number pool that Burst SMS controls. This Shared Number can change between SMS. Replies to your SMS will appear as normal in your SMS History.
Option 2: You enter your assigned Virtual Number
Burst SMS provides clients with the option of buying a Virtual Number. This number is assigned to your Burst SMS account and all SMS will be associated with this number. This number will not change unlike when using a Shared Number. Replies to your SMS will appear as normal in your SMS history.
Option 3: You enter anything
You can enter anything in this field, eg ‘Saasplugin’. When people receive your SMS they will see the sender as what you've written into the field, i.e. ‘Saasplugin’. Your clients are able to send SMS replies, however, you will not be able to receive them.
Event Reminder Template - You can select your preferred template for event reminders from this drop-down menu. The default event reminder SMS template will be used if you don’t select other options.
Reply SMS Notify To - You have to select the Record Owner who is basically the one receiving notifications. The "Who Has Sent" option indicates who sent the SMS.
Send SMS to Deals - Here, you can select the SMS recipient for Deals. You can either select “Primary Contact Only” or “Associated All Contacts”.
The “Primary Contact Only” option will only send SMS to the primary number, whereas the “Associated All Contacts” will send SMS not only to the primary number but also to all the numbers that are associated with it.
Send SMS Options - This option allows you to send SMS after 60 seconds or instantly.
SMS to Campaign Deals - Similar to “Send SMS to Deals”, you can send SMS to “Primary Contact Only”, which will only send SMS to the primary contact; or send SMS to “Associated All Contacts” for sending SMS to the primary number along with all the numbers that are associated with it.
