You need to specify the Converted Lead Location where the associated folders and files will be migrated.
After setting the Converted Lead Location, we need to configure modules and fields for Leads in order to convert them into Deals.
Click the Settings icon at the top right corner
Then, go to -
Customization >> Modules and Fields
Click the Three-dot (...) icon beside Leads. Then, click on “Lead Conversion Mapping”.
Scroll down until you find “Lead ID for CRM2WorkDrive Extension”. Set the third column of that option to “Lead ID for CRM2WorkDrive Extension”. Then, click Save to apply the changes.
Before converting a Lead to Deal, we must set the Converted Leads Location from the Zoho Work Drive Module Settings first.
Once you click the “Choose Converted Leads Location” button, you will be asked to choose a template.
Then, select a template from the drop-down menu.
Leads can be converted to deals using the standard Convert button in Zoho CRM, which is located at the top right corner. Based on Zoho CRM standard conversion process, users will be able to create a new contact or use existing contact for conversion.
If a new contact is chosen, then there will be separate lead folders created in WorkDrive. If an existing contact is chosen, then the leads folder will be created in the same folder in WorkDrive.
Upon clicking the Convert button, the following window will pop up. Here users can convert a lead to a deal.
You must ensure the Create a new Deal for this Account box is checked.
After clicking the checkbox, you need to set the Closing Date and Stage
You will get a successful message like this -
Once converted we will be able to see our newly converted Deal in the Deals module.
